I had a great teacher who was patient and explained everything very well. I learned a lot “y puedo hablar mejor que antes.” All of my teachers were good but I didn’t like the new textbook.

Lupita used grammatical illustrations and envolved every student, responding very capably to their questions. Sergio is an exceptional History instructor and is entertaining while teaching. Now after 7 weeks at the Academia I appreciate how the mehtodology works. I only regret that I can’t stay longer!

My teacher Norma was excellent. I like your immersion method far better than note memory and grammer rules. Would have enjoyed more info on social courtesies and customs. For the 1st Level the text is effective and well suited for continued work and review.

I liked the school and hope to come back in October and enroll my wife! Your pedagogical philosophy is much better that other instructional models I have experienced. However, 1) I would change the book and 2) Have mid-term evaluations.

I appreaciate the fact that teachers are student-centered, courses move along –no time wasted. I was very happy with my core classes. I am a former textbook editor and think the book is poor. Surely there must be better textbooks. However, overall, I would definitely recommend this school to others.

My teacher Norma taught with visual, auditory & kinesthic –all modes of learning. I find the texbooks very condusive to learning (difficult with no English), however, Norma was very helpful.

I loved my teacher Lupita’s teaching style. She does not make anyone in the class feel stupid and explains materials in a way that is easy to understand. I think the Academia does a great job at placing the student in the correct level. I like the use of musice and telenovelas as well as the reading and writing.

The Academia is a great school and I learned a lot here. The only thing I would change is to have the teachers speak a little English so that we can grasp some difficult concepts in Spanish that need a little English reasoning.

Norma is definitely an excellent teacher; Javier was also excellent in Pronunciation & Diction; Ana Maria was a good teacher and Sergio was excellent in History of Mexico. I am finding the school much as I expected to, and I like what I find. I like the textbooks very much and think they are good for the program.
